PEOPLE AND MEDIA (MUM) Our profile "People and Media" is unique in this form. It aims to strengthen the students' personality in such a way that they can use the media intelligently and take responsibility for themselves and our society. It is taught from grades 7 to 10 for three hours as a profile subject. In the upper level, the subject can be continued in the form of a seminar course. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (NWT) In the natural sciences profile, students are taught interdisciplinary scientific and technical thinking in parallel with the basic knowledge of the individual basic sciences. In addition, their curiosity is aroused by observations of nature and technology and they are guided to problem-solving strategies. Through experimental procedures, they will be taught scientific ways of thinking and working and they will learn to combine the knowledge gained in the team into a holistic view. We teach NwT every three hours from grades 7 to 10. In the upper grades, students can choose NwT as a three-hour basic subject, since we are one of 50 experimental schools in Baden-Württemberg. In this NwT course, the students are familiarized with the professional field of engineers.
