Malta University Language School 에 관하여
몰타 대학교의 부설 어학교는 몰타에서 유일하게 대학캠퍼스 내에 위치한 어학교 입니다. 몰타 대학교는 몰타에서 가장 높은 교육 기관입니다. 국가에의해 운영되는 기관입니다. 몰타 대학교는 최근에 Bologna 및 유럽지역의 교육을 받아들이는 작업 및 코스 리뷰를 하였습니다. 학교에는 풀타임 혹은 파트 타임으로 학위과정으로 77개국에서 650여명의 유학생을 유치하고 있으며 전체 학생은 11000으로 구성되어 있습니다. 기본적으로 학위 프로그램은 국제 기관의 고등교육을 마친 학생들이 입학이 가능합니다만 입학 자격에 맞는 학생분들역시 입학이 가능합니다.

(i In the event of cancellations made at least 14-29 days before the due check-in date:
• The Student/Applicant will receive a 75% refund on course/tuition fees and tuition service charges only, less an administration fee of €100 which is payable to MULS.
• Accommodation refunds will be as follows:
For bookings with host families the Student/Applicant will receive a 75% refund on accommodation fees less an administration fee of €100 which is payable to MULS
For bookings at Kappara Hotel, the Student/Applicant will receive a 75% refund on accommodation fees less an administration fee of €100 which is payable to MULS; and
For bookings at Campus Hub, refunds are at the discretion of Campus Hub upon presentation of a copy of the visa refusal letter, and will be decided on a case-by-case basis. In such event, Campus Hub will retain a €50 administration fee in every case;

일반 & 비즈니스 영어 혼합 프로그램 (Combination General & Business English)
프로그램은 학생들이 일반 영어 수업에 추가적으로 비즈니스 영어 강의에 참여할 수 있도록 해줍니다. 비즈니스 강의는 일대일 수업 또는 그룹으로 진행됩니다. 일반 및 비즈니스 영어 통합 과정은 그룹 활동을 통해 영어를 향상시키고자 하는 학생들과 전문적인 환경에서 영어 능숙도와 정확도를 높이고자 하는 학생들 모두에게 이상적입니다. 이 과정은 Bildungsurlaub에서 인정 받았습니다.
모든 학생들은 도착하기 전에 온라인 배치 시험을 통해 반배정을 받습니다. 학생들은 영어 수준에 맞는 과정에 참가할 수 있게 됩니다.

몰타의 정식명칭은 몰타공화국(Republic of Malta)입니다. 이탈리아의 시칠리아섬 남쪽 90km의 지중해 중앙에 몰타(Malta)를 주도(主島)로 고조(Gozo)•코미노(Comino) 등의 구성된 섬나라입니다. 이탈리아 남쪽 끝에 위치한 시칠리아 섬에서 쾌속정으로 약 한 시간 반 정도, 영국과는 비행기로 3시간 정도면 도착할 수 있습니다. 지중해에서는 유례를 찾아볼 수 없을 정도로 고고학적 유적이 풍부한 곳으로, 선사시대의 무덤인 하이포게엄(Hypogeum), 신석기시대 사원, 바로크풍의 수도 발레타(Valletta) 등이 국제연합교육과학문화기구(UNESCO)의 세계문화 유적으로 지정되어 있습니다. 1814년 영국의 영토에 편입되어 제1,2차 세계대전 시 영국의 전쟁 수행에 유익한 역할을 하였고, 1964년 독립 후에도 영연방의 일원이 되었습니다. 약 150년 동안 영국의 지배 영향으로 몰타어와 함께 영어가 몰타의 공식 언어입니다. 1980년대 중반 이후 항공, 관광, 금융의 중계지 역할을 자임하면서 2004년 5월 유럽연합에 가입하였습니다. 행정구역은 없으며, 행정상 절차는 지방의회에서 감당합니다. 결코 풍요로움과 편리함을 기대할 수 있는 곳은 아니지만 규칙에 맞추어 숨쉴 틈 없이 생활할 필요가 없기에 여유로운 시간을 마음껏 즐기실 수 있습니다. 적응기간이 지나 마음의 영유가 생기다 보면 어느새 자연스럽게 타인에게도 마을을 열게 되는 나 자신을 느낄 수 있게 됩니다. 몰타란 이런 매력을 만끽할 수 있는 곳입니다.
